ONAM CELEBRATION 🎇🎆🪅🪷🌼💮🏵️

Onam, the festival of happiness, peace and prosperity was celebrated at FMTC Mylapore on 31 August 2022. The students decorated💫 the campus with colourful 🌺🌸💐🌼🌻Pookalam. Diyas🪔 were lit and placed upon the Pookalam, giving an almost spiritual ambience to the occasion. Students presented programmes highlighting the culture and tradition of Kerala in the form of dance. The College gave a festive look with the beautiful Pookkalam and decorations. Function waa inagurated by  our Vice  Chairman Noushad Younus. Students and staff were in the traditional attire💫🌸 of Kerala. Sadhya😋 was there after celebration🎊.

TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE II EIGHTH WEEK (22nd August- 23rd August)

Last week

It was the last week of our teaching practice.

We got only two days in the last week of our teaching practice. In this week I taught the students grammar throug concept attainment model of teaching by providing them positive and negative examples which helped them to arrive at the concept easily . I taught them grammar through Direct instruction model. I hope they got an idea about the sentence structure and the constituents of a sentence. With the help of advance organizer model, I taught them.

      On the last day of our teaching practice we distributed sweets to the students, teachers, HM and all other non-teaching staffs who had cooperated with us for the past 30 days.we also have a cake cutting ceremony.Then We got our lesson plan record sealed. All the teachers wished us future success and blessed all of us. The students also gave us feedbacks and letters of love. On 23rd we left the school at 3.30 with loads of memories.  

TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE II SEVENTH WEEK (16th August - 20th August)

This week we celebrated 75 th independence day on 15 th August,so we have a flag hoisting ceremony conducted at school,we reported at the school morning itself and made needed arrangment.It was a beautiful ceremony there were many programs like speech,March past.

It was the second last week of our teaching practice in School. We had a mixed feelings. We all the fellow teacher trainess were happy and sad at the time.

   In this week I almost completed the chapters Tolstoy Farm.In this week I also conducted an achievement test for the students. I distributed the answer sheets the next day. And I explained all the questions and answers to make them thorough with the content.Most of the students scored good marks.I gave them necessary feedback.

As part of our Bed curriculum we have done two cognitive map based on the chapters from 11 and 12.Two units HARMONY OF LIFE and CHALLANGES OF LIFE.

TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE II SIXTH WEEK ( 8th August 2022 - 12th August 2022)

   We have completed six weeks of our teaching practice in VALLIKEEZHU School. During these six weeks, we gained so many experiences through our teaching practice. In the course of time, we have developed an attachment towards the school and the teachers and also towards the students. 

          There was an assembly and as a part of memmorial Hiroshima day the children conducted speech.There after principal distributed price for children those who won for quiz competitions.

           we went to the computer lab for helping a teacher to set the language lap for students.we installed an IT based software to make study intresting and engaging.we usually went to the language lab and helped the children to operate the computer.They were really happy and entertained.They learned the contents really well.

       In this week I continued the normal lesson plans of the chapter 'Tolstoy Farm'. I also gave the students notes. . I used pictures and flashcards and ICTfor introducing glossary terms. With the help of activity cards I checked the comprehension of students of the students. Clara teacher was there for observing my class. They helped me in controlling the class and with their help and support I have successfully completed six weeks of teaching practice in the school.

Innovative Work Report sem 4

Innovation refers to the development of new ideas or the improvement of existing ideas. It is very effective in capturing the attention and interest of the students. Innovative work is defined as the process of making changes to something established by introducing something new. 

    This innovative work is based on the portion I had delivered in G.H.S.S.VALLIKEEZHU.I taught the students some difficult words, an innovative work for capturing the attention of students and also for enabling the active participation of students. 

   During the diagnostic test I conducted,i found most of the students find difficulty in remembering some confusing words. As students have some doubts regarding the spelling , the innovative work helped them to understand the concept better. The innovative work that I had prepared for the students is a rubics cube filled with confusing words from the chapter 'Maternity',I gave to them they find it really interesting, engaging to correct the spelling,they will eventually remember the word with out any burden.

TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE II FIFTH WEEK(1st August 2022 - 5th August 2022) 👩‍🏫

A fresh begining of a week and a month.It was a rainy week,even though students were bright and happy.we can see excitement on their face.It was the fifth week.In this week I took the activities of the poem, Song of a Dream. I was also dealing with the chapter Tolstoy Farm. I have almost completed more than half of the chapter. With the help of flashcards and activity cards I taught them new words. With the help of activity cards I checked the comprehension of students.  

 Clara miss was there for observing my class everyday.she was a kind and very supporting teachers,she gave me suggestions when ever needed.she  also helped me in controlling the class. 

TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE II FOURTH WEEK (25th July 2022 - 29th July 2022) 👩‍🏫

I have completed four weeks, successfully, of teaching practice in VALLIKEEZHU School. Gradually we have developed an attachment towards the school. We have witnessed various co curricular activities conducted by the school. A science exhibition was conducted in this week based on chandrayan day. Students displayed various innovative models that they made. Students were greatly enthusiastic and talented. 

    In this week i almost completed the poem Song of a Dream by Sarojini Naidu. And I have started the chapter Tolstoy Farm by Mahatma Gandhiji. It was a rainy week, students usually arrive the school by using umbrella,it was actually a scenic view for us.we feel sad sometimes seeing students carrying bags as a burden full of books that they can't carry.over all we loved the atmosphere of the school.

TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE II THIRD WEEK( 18th July 2022 - 22nd July 2022)👩‍🏫

On the second week of teaching practice in G.H.S.S Vallikeezhu, I completed the chapter, 'Maternity' by Lilika Nakos for the class 9E. I used flashcards and pictures for introducing new and difficult words. With the help of activity cards, I checked the comprehension of students. Some days students have quiz and other literary programs at IT lab,so we teacher trainees have  to monitor students when they were writing exams. 

       The students got pity and they imagined about the pathetic condition of war.when they heard about the story of Mikali. They shared their ideas and queries.

On 21/07/2022 we celebrated chandrayan day, their was a quiz competition based on that topic.

Second week phase 2

TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE II SECOND WEEK( 11th July 2022 - 15th July 2022)👩‍🏫👸

It was the second week of teaching practice. First day of the week, Monday

(11/07/2022) had a special assembly in which Rotary club of kollam cooperation provided an Led TV for primary class. Deputy mayor and some officials of kollam cooperation were the chief guest of the programme. Head master Biju Sir presented the vote of thanks of the programme.They assure that they will give necessary scholarship for students etc.

On Tuesday Our HM gave a duty to us for serve midday meal to students. It was a nice experience for us.It was a lovely experience for us to see small kids asking for 

On Wednesday asusual  we taught chapters for my students and participated in some school activities.As usual I collect total number of students of 8 th standard, who take lunch  from school.at Noon we went to serve food.I almost completed my chapter MATERNITY By LALIKA NAKOS.

On Thursday our Tutor Anamika miss surprisingly visit our school for class observation.As it was a surprise visit we didn't expect her on that day,but we managed it nicely.we took the class, students cooperated very well,miss gave us necessary comments and suggestions to improve our class.

On Friday we conducted an eye test for Upper primary students. We told students to read letters which was placed in a long distance from them. Some students read it properly but some cannot be able to see it clearly so we noticed the name of those students. For them HM conducted an official eye test under the supervision of ophthalmologist. 

Last period was art's period know as 'SARGAMELA'.Students exhibit their skill,some sang a song,dance,tells story etc.

Over all it was a nice week. I completed MATERNITY chapter  and gave notes of the chapter. I engaged in some school activities like serving food with pleasure. I am enjoying every moments in the school.
